Treeroot Espresso and Edibles is serious about providing a truly unique espresso experience. We love coffee and we think that fast, efficient and pleasant service is important to the overall experience. We also make it our responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint by using high-quality local ingredients, materials that compost (or at least recycle) and minimal packaging. Our self-contained truck uses the quietest, lowest emissions generator available, too.

It's our mission to provide the most convenient, high-quality and local espresso, coffee and tasty treats. We realize it's not easy to stop on your way to work or your workout, find a parking space, wait in line, order your favorite espresso beverage, pay and get back on the road. So, we are where you’re going and we provide options to speed up the process. We strive to get to know you and if you have a “usual,” you can count on us to remember it. You can choose to prepay for your usual drink (at a discount, of course) and prepaid customers can even order online through Twitter.

Amy Gaskill, owner and barista, has developed a passion for espresso since her days working in a series of well-known Pacific Northwest brands, including Fortune 200 companies, beginning in the early 1990s. Her espresso tastes refined over time, and she ultimately chose to leave her Human Resources career for a job in coffee in 2007. After learning the basics of the business through a few coffee shops and assisting with the opening of a new location for a small but thriving espresso stand in Seattle, Amy is now thrilled to combine her years of professional experience, her commitment to excellent customer service and her passion for local, sustainable business here at Treeroot Espresso and Edibles.

Organic espresso and coffee beans roasted right here on Bainbridge Island by
Fog Woman Coffee.
We use the Fog Woman Espresso, a prized heirloom bourbon coffee from Central America blended with African and Indonesian coffees. Our decaf espresso is processed using the Swiss Water Process – that means no chemicals are used to decaffeinate the beans, so the decaf is also organic.

Our drip coffee is created using Fog Woman’s Café Femenino beans and portions of the proceeds go back to the Café Femenino Foundation, which supports women who grow, harvest and process their own high-quality organic coffee. Learn more about the Café Femenino Foundation at www.coffeecan.org.

All of our delicious cookies are provided by My Kids' Cookies , baking goodness every day from their new Bainbridge Island location at 400 Winslow Way East.

Love our New York style bagels? We get them from Kingston’s own Stonehouse Breads. Contact them through their website for info on where else you can find their wide variety of bread products.

Our delicious Maple-Blueberry Granola is created on Bainbridge by Metro Market Catering.

We get our Chai Tea from Morning Glory Chai a Seattle-based brewer since 1995.

Last but not least, we use Smith Brothers Farms for our dairy products. Smith Brothers gives us milk fresh from Washington cows, free of artificial growth hormones.
